Darcy has added to its already extensive range of spillcare products with the launch of a new absorbents spill station.
Manufactured entirely from durable recycled card, the spill station provides health and safety teams with a convenient, cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution for maintaining essential stocks of absorbent products at multiple locations across a site.
The self-assembly unit neatly accommodates a selection of pads, rolls, socks and cushions, all of which can be stocked according to their purpose: blue for oil-based spills, yellow for chemical-based spills and grey for non-aggressive liquids, hydrocarbons and mild chemicals.
Mark Carlton, Sales Development Director at Darcy Group, said: “When it comes to dealing with spills, the quicker they can be managed, the lower the impact in terms of downtime, cost and possible environmental damage. Absorbents often play a key role in that initial response, and it’s important that on-site teams have easy access to the products they need at the point they are needed.”
“The addition of the new absorbents spill station to the Darcy range is designed to help site managers ensure they have the right mix of absorbents present in the right locations to minimise their pollution risk.”
Spill stations form part of Darcy’s comprehensive range of spillcare products, which include a broad selection of highly effective absorbents for dealing with every type of spill. The product range is matched by a full suite of pollution-prevention services that, together, protect organisations and the environment from the potential damage caused by unintentional polluting events.
