Expansion to Support Growing Production Needs

The Darcy Group, established in 1935, has taken on a third building in Merseyside to meet growing production needs and enable warehouse expansion. With this latest addition, the company now operates five buildings in total, including its Leeds site for operations and its Kent headquarters, which houses sales, finance, and administration.

Technical Production Scales Up Across All Products

Rapid growth across both drain closure systems and pollution monitoring alarms has driven the expansion of Darcy’s technical production. The surge in demand is being driven by multiple factors: the growth of the digital infrastructure sector has increased the need for tertiary containment solutions like drain closure systems, while tighter environmental regulations have boosted sales of pollution monitoring alarms, including those for oil water separators.

Meeting Demand Across All Markets

Serving both end customers — with full installation, commissioning, and maintenance — and separator manufacturers with white-labelled alarms, Darcy’s technical production team has scaled up to meet this rising demand. Investment in higher-capacity, automated PCB manufacturing equipment is underway, ensuring production can keep pace with future growth across all markets.

Strengthening the Team

Business growth in 2026 has also seen the addition of key personnel, including a new Sales Manager for Darcy Spillcare, an additional Administration Assistant and a new Aquasentry Field Service and Installation Technician, all three joining the team in January 2026.

A Legacy of Innovation

For over 90 years, the Darcy Group has combined practical experience with technological innovation to meet evolving regulations, customer expectations, and environmental challenges. This latest expansion continues that legacy, positioning the company to support its customers well into the future.
