HOW IT WORKS

Applications:

• Protecting premises and products from damage due to flooding or spills
• As a barrier system to contain or divert flood water
• An effective temporary bunding system

Weighted:

• Pre-filled units to be placed between self-filling units. Fill with with water ballast for added security. This combined weigh of the liquid being blocked or contained and the weighted connection keys, secures the barriers in position.

Unique foam:

• Each pod incorporates a unique foam gasket base creating a tight seal with the ground. No bolting to the ground is required, the weight of the filled units and weighted connection keys secure the barrier in position. Each pod comes complete with a key to lock the pods together.

Suitable terrains:

• Floodstop is suitable for use on hard standings such as roads, pavements, pathways.
• It can be used on grass or soil, depending on undulations.
• Not recommended for use on gravel.

Precautions:

If situated on a porous surface then the contained liquids would eventually penetrate standard ground. If Floodstop is to be used as a temporary bund then it is suggested to use an optional groundsheet available from Darcy that helps create a watertight container.
